Violet Frances Taylor (née Maxwell) Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) TAYLOR, Violet Frances - 90, Middle Sackville, died peacefully December 8, 2004, in Hants Community Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Edith (Smith) Maxwell. Violet was a resident of Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, the 50 Plus Club, Sackville Bowling and TOPS. She was very active and involved in her community up until her late 70s. She had many great friends and will be sadly missed yet fondly remembered. Her passion was her family. Violet was well-known for her kind and caring nature, reaching out to others in their time of need. She leaves behind her devoted children, sons, Vernon (Roxie) Langille, Lower Sackville; Roland "Rollie" (Dean) Langille, Enfield; Graham (Marian) Langille, Beaver Bank; Ivan (Annette) Langille, Enfield; Bernard "Buddy" Taylor, Middle Sackville; daughters, Ella "Tory" (George) Hustins, Lantz; Shirley Taylor (Brian), Lower Sackville; Dianne (Steven) Lindsay, Middle Sackville; brother, Joe (Diane) Maxwell, Lower Sackville; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Bertrum Langille; second husband, George Taylor; two sons in infancy; sisters, Goldie, Ada, Doris; brothers, Dick, Clarie, Ronnie; grandchildren, Terry, David. Special thanks to Dr. Chui for his 30 plus years of TLC. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Lower Sackville, Archdeacon Ron Cutler officiating.
