DEVER, Marjory Peacefully at home on Thursday, December 9, 2004. Marjory Fraser Dever (nee MacDonald) of Alexandria after a courageous battle against Leukemia. Predeceased by her husband John Dever. Beloved mother of Susan Bryan (Phil), Alan, Donald and Geoffrey. Cherished grandmother of Fiona, Andrea, Sara, Michael, Scott and Nana's boy Rory. Marjory will also be greatly missed by her extended family across Canada, and by her many friends in Laval QC, Alexandria ON and Bradenton Florida. A selfless and tireless volunteer, Marjory contributed many years of service to her communities through such organizations as Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Glengarry Outreach, Meals on Wheels (Laval, Alexandria and Bradenton), U.C.W. and was especially proud of her designation as Honorary Life Member of Presbyterian Women (USA). The family extends thanks to Dr. Louise Coloumbe, the nurses of the V.O.N., and the Ottawa Palliative Outreach program for their compassion and care during her illness. Funeral Service will be held at the Alexandria United Church (Church on The Hill) on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 11am. Interment will follow in the Alexandria United Church Cemetery.
