FANTIN Severina "Nonna" (nee Querin) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends, at Windsor Regional Hospital Centre-Metropolitan Campus, on December 9, 2004 at the fantastic age of 90 years. Born on January 30, 1914 in Praturlone, Udine, Italy; Severina is the beloved wife of the late Guido, (1982). Dear mother of John, "Gianuti" and wife Gloria of Tilbury; Noemi and husband Doug Friend of Windsor; and the late Elvy Fantin, (1979) and his surviving wife Gail of Windsor. Dear daughter of the late Giovanni(1961) and Ester (1966) Guerra. Loving Nonna (Grandmother) of Pamela Dunk of Guelph; Christopher Fantin and Tammy; Lisa Fantin of Windsor; David Fantin and wife Jeanne of Tilbury; Diana Graham and Danny Fantin and wife Gail, all of Collingwood; Brian, Amy, and Sarah Friend, all of Windsor. Loving Great-Grandmother (Bis-Nonna) of Justin, Adam and Rachel Dunk; Eric and Jocelyn Fantin; Skyler Fantin; Kirkland and the late Cordel Graham (1998); Julia and Lorelai Fantin; Aiden Friend; Dylin Gerard and Craig Dunn. Dear sister of Ognibene "Benny" Querin, and his late wife Natalina (1983); the late Giovanni Querin (2002), and his late wife Justina, (1984); the late Adamo, (2000), and his surviving wife Marguerite of Windsor; and the late Noemi,(1919). Dear sister-in-law of Amalia Belluzzo and Luigia Fantin, both of Windsor; and pre-deceased by brothers and sisters in law. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fantin was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and a longtime member of the Riverside Bowling League. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Saturday December 11, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Monday December 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
