JOLY, HOSANNA (Nee St-Jean) 1913-2004 The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Timmins Extendicare in Schumacher on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband and soul mate of 54 years Omer Joly on January 27, 1983. Dearest mother of 6 sons and 5 daughters;Yvon Joly, Thérèse Trudel (Jacques) all of Timmins, Claire T. Joly (Robert) of Winnipeg, Roger Joly, Carmen Caron (Denis), Normand (Diane), Alfred Joly (Glenda), Diane Tremblay (Gary), Gail Brown (Rick), Raymond Joly , Richard Joly (Shelley) and daughter in-law Lucy Paquette of Timmins. Predeceased by her daughter Yvette on October 17, 1994, by her infant son Edgar, her son Bobby on November 19, 2003, her daughter Lucy on December 24, 2003, her her son in-law Laurier Bastarache on January 27, 1993 as well as her daughter in-law Rita Joly on February 12, 1997. Grandmother of 41 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by one sister Thérèse Cayen of Elliot Lake, sisters in-law Grace Spadafore of Guelph, Delores Galino of Sudbury, Gilberte St-Jean of Chelmsford and brothers in-law Stephanne Dequanne of Chelmsford and Rene Joly (Marge) of Kamloops, B.C., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hosanna is predeceased by her parents Florina (Nee Dequanne) and Noé St-Jean. She was born on October 6, 1913 in Chelmsford, Ontario and moved to Timmins in the 1930's where she has since resided. Mom had a great love for all her children, her family was her life, she was the bond that held the family together. Rest in peace dear Mom, your job is done. At this time the family would like to convey a special thank you to Dr. Vaithilingham and the dedicated and caring staff of the Extendicare Nursing Home in Schumacher. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 from Notre Dame de la Paix Church (formerly known as Notre Dame de Lourdes). Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St., S., Timmins. - 12/13/2004 - ID5364970
