REID, "Terry" Teresa Lucy (1929-2004) On December 11, 2004, Teresa Lucy Shalla departed this life in her 75th year at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital in Windsor. She was the beloved wife of fifty wonderful years of M. Norman Reid, loving mother of Sheila McCabe (Peter) of Belleville, Carol Brennan (Pete) of Toronto, Michael Reid (Kim) of Waterloo, and Andrea Neufeld (Rick) of London. She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander Shalla and Elizabeth Etmanski of Barry's Bay, her brother Adolph Shalla, her sisters, Sr. Genevieve Shalla, C.S.J., Mary Gabourie, Susan Cybulskie, her brother Edward Shalla and her sister Catherine Shalla. She is survived by her sister Zita Glofcheskie of Barry's Bay. She will be greatly missed by her dear grandchildren Daniel, Michael and Damian McCabe, Reid and Kristen Brennan, Ben, Jaime and Kaitlyn Reid and Blake and Max Neufeld. Terry and Norm are blessed by many great friends in their Windsor neighbourhood, and from St. John's to Sault Ste. Marie, in the many communities they were part of as they moved across Canada with the Bank of Montreal. Terry was a graduate of the 1950 nursing class, Hotel Dieu, Kingston. Visitation will be held at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (just west of Walker Rd.) on Wednesday, Dec. 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. Rose of Lima Church, 891 St. Rose Avenue (near Wyandotte and Lauzon), Windsor, on Thursday, Dec. 16th, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital Building Fund, 1030 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario, N9A 1E1, whose expertise and compassionate care is appreciated.
