MOGYORODY, William (Bill) Andrew It is with deep sorrow that the family of Bill Mogyorody announces his passing, on December 12, 2004, at Iler Lodge, Essex, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Agocs) for 55 years. Loving father of Dr. Veronika Mogyorody and partner Dr. Vito Signorile of Windsor, Kevin and wife Christine Mogyorody of Tecumseh. Dear grandfather of Michael Mogyorody and fiancee Stacey Roberts. Predeceased by his parents John (1980) and Helena (1985) Mogyorody. Dear brother of Florence Smijan of Windsor, Mary and Alec Olah of Cottam, Robert and Marie Mogyorody of Maidstone. Dear brother-in-law of George and Dorothy Agocs of Oldcastle. Dear godfather of Kelly Agocs Santoro of Windsor. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. As a former resident of Sandwich South Township, Bill owned and operated farms near the village of Maidstone, was the Fire Chief and Deputy Reeve, and was also a representative on Essex County Council and ERCA. Bill retired from Ford Motor Co. after 40 years of service and was an active member on the Board of Directors of Motor Employees Credit Union. During W.W.II, Bill served overseas with the Highland Light Infantry. After his discharge he became a bandsman with the Essex and Kent Scottish, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 143. As a young mechanic, Bill raced Stockcar No. 137. He was an avid sailor, and a member of South Port Sailing Club. The family would like to thank the staff at Iler Lodge for the excellent care and comfort given to Bill during the past two years. East, on Monday, December 13, 2004, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Legion Service Monday at 7:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at 9:15 a.m. from Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, then to St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 1493 Parent Ave., for mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Louis Angyal officiating. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
