Ellen Moar October 20, 1914 - December 13, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Home After a courageous battle with cancer, Ellen Moar went to see her Lord. She was born in Kamloops BC, the oldest daughter of a family of nine. She was raised in Saskatoon, SK and moved to Flin Flon, MB and met and married Roland. They had five children: Gwen (Nestor), Frank (Carol), Tom (Lois), Patricia (Fletch). She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is survived by sisters; Teresa Bremner, Mary Hendy and brother Bud (Jo) Stewart. She leaves many friends and relatives who she loved dearly. Ellen was predeceased by husband Roland, daughter Shirley, parents Walter and Hazel Stewart, brothers Ray, Frank, Ross Stewart and sisters Julie Mitchell and Sister Evelyne. The family would like to thank the staff at Stony Plain Hospital and the staff at the George Hennig Assisted Living Facility. This was where Ellen spent the last few months and she loved it. She was loved and taken care of the way any family would want a loved one taken care of. Thank you, you are truly God's Angels. A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 17, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Clare Church, 6310-118 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation to follow service and interment will take place in Saskatoon.
