ROBERTSON, Richard "Dick". 1919-2004. Peacefully on December 13, 2004, at the Pierrefonds Manor, near the end of his eighty-fifth year. He has gone to join his beloved wife of forty-four years, Thelma Murray. Survived by his brother Hector (Edna), and sister Helen (Dick McMillan). Predeceased by his brother George (Patricia). Missed by his daughters Ann (Randall Quinn), Ellen (Geoffrey Barlow), and Dale (Tom Sinclair). Much loved "grampa" of Valerie, Daniel, Patrick, Heather, Emma and Gregory. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard was born in Poperinge Belgium. A veteran of WWII, he served his country overseas from 1939-1945. He was active in the Royal Canadian Legion, a long-time employee of Bell Canada, and one of the original members of St. Thomas a Becket Parish. The family would like to thank Pierrefonds Manor for all their care, and in particular Jim Quinn for his devotion, dedication, and support to Dick and his family.
