ROY, Edna (nee Tratechaud) 94 years, on December 13, 2004 at Heron Terrace with her loving family at her side. Formerly of Solidarity Towers and Sunrise Assisted Living. Beloved wife of the late Roy Christian, Adelard Roy and Philias Roy. Survived by her loving partner John Lang. Dear mother of Ron and his wife Betty Christian, Edna and her husband Samuel Fry, Roy Christian, Rita and her husband Jim Hollens and the late Dorothy (2004), Wilburt (2004) and his wife Linda Christian and Louise (1998) and her husband Moe Roy. Loving Mime of Sara, Anne Marie, Allan, Paul, Doris, Russell, Kathleen, Julie, Sam, Dorothy, Diane, Mark, Billy, Donna, Denise and Christopher. Many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Eddie, Lorraine, Rose, and Armand who is survived by his wife Grace Tratechaud. Edna brightened the lives of all whom she came to know, including the Boudreau clan, her friends at Solidarity Towers, Sunrise, Heron Terrace and St. John Vianney Church. The family will receive friends at Janisse Brothers-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. on Thurs. from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers will be held on Thurs. at 8pm. A transfer will be made to St. John Vianney Church on Friday at 10am. with viewing till time of Funeral Mass at 10:30. Please note: There will be no Funeral procession to the Church, Interment Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as your appreciation of sympathy. A tree will be planted in memory of Edna Roy in the Janisse Bros Marcotte Heritage Forest.
