Alberta "Bertie" Fullerton 1922 - 2004 Alberta "Bertie" Fullerton, 82, of Albert, went to be with her Lord on December 14, 2004 at The Moncton City Hospital. Bertie was born in West River, Albert County on March 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Wm. Botsford and Johanna (Copper) Lyman. She was a housewife and loving mother. She was an active Life Elder of the Wesley United Church in Albert, she was a charter member of the U.C.W. and also past president. She was a charter member of the Winston Churchill Chapter #19 O.E.S., she was a past Worthy Matron. She belonged to the Albert County Hospital Ladies Auxilary and was past treasurer of the Albert County Hospital Junior Auxilary. She was also a member of the Friendship Senior Citizens Group. Bertie was very active in her community. However, the most important thing to her was family, she was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and she was always there for them. She will live on in their hearts forever. She was a very special lady and wanted everyone to know that this was a very enjoyable time of year for her and to rejoice in the fact that she will be spending Christmas in Heaven with Jesus Christ this year. She will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Lana Wilbur (Clifford) of Riverside-Albert, Phyllis Betts (Brian) of Riverside-Albert, Helen Collins (Gordon) of London, Ontario; two sons, Wm. Blake Fullerton (Heather) of Hillsborough, Gregory Fullerton (Eileen) of Riverside-Albert; her two sisters, Ruby Anderson of Albert, Dolly Last of Simcoe, Ontario; her four granddaughters, Shelley, Heidi, Kelly and Krista; six grandsons, Russell, Jeffery, Craig, Mitchell, Martin and Luc; also by her precious twelve great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Russell Fullerton; her daughter, Maxine Weston; seven brothers, Wm. Gordon, Henry, Victor, Elijah, Murray, Judson and Raymond; five sisters, Anne Randall, Susie Weatherly, Mildred Carlin, Neta Hendy and Sadie Kennie. The visitation will be held at the Wesley United Church in Albert on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. During the visitation the Order of the Eastern Star will be having a service in memory of Bertie at 7:30 pm. All are welcome. A memorial service will be held at the Wesley United Church on Friday, December 17, 2004 at 11 am with Rev. Val Chongva officiating. The interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Following the memorial service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Riverside-Albert Recreation Center for further sharing of memories and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wesley United Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
