Lloyd L. Powell Lloyd Lawrence Powell, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, age 86, passed away, Saturday, July 31, 2004 at his residence. Born May 11, 1918 in Moncton, he was a son of the late Percy and May (Melanson) Powell. He was a retired jeweler, having worked at Neil McKay's. He is survived by a son, Arthur Powell (Claudette) of Moncton; daughter, Penny Beers (Sanford) of Harcourt; brother, Wesley Powell of Moncton; sister, Edna Reinthal of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Amanda Beers; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence Cunningham; sons, James and Richard; brother, Roy Powell; sister, Stella White. A private service will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2004, with Fr. A. Carroll officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit, Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the home of Arthur Powell, 144 Butler Street, Moncton. Burial will be held in the Shediac Road Cemetery. Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton, (857-1110) has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
