BOHDAL, Kenneth Ronald "Ron" Mar. 13, 1941 - Dec. 14, 2004 Passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding his bedside at London Health Sciences Center, University Campus. Ron fought courageously to overcome complications due to a heart attack suffered on September 21, but in the end God called him home. He will be welcomed into Heaven by his loving parents Joseph Bohdal (1960) and Stella Bohdal (2002). Ron will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Sandra (nee Worthington). Loved and admired by his children Debbie O'Neil and husband Warren, Joseph Bohdal and wife Lisa and David Bohdal and Heather. Very special grandfather and friend to Kyle, Cody, Austyn, Bailey and Wyatt O'Neil, Caley Trepanier and Madison Bohdal. Son-in-law of Fred and Ruth (1997) Worthington and brother in law to John and Debbie Baer (Waterloo), and the late Barbara Worthington (1972). Uncle to Jenni Baer. Survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, the United States, Slovakia and Australia. Ron served as a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police from 1963-1976 before moving to Windsor to serve as a Provincial Prosecutor until his retirement in 1993. Since his retirement Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling locally and overseas, and wheeling and dealing his clocks and accordians. Ron will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. He will always be remembered for his quirky sense of humour and his lighthearted antics. Hope the harp section in Heaven has room for an accordian player.... we will be listening for your music. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (776-4233) on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Ron's life will be held from the funeral home on Saturday December 18, 2004 at 11:00 am. Fr. Matthew George officiating. Parish Prayers Friday evening at 7 pm.
