Freda Rawlines 1926 - 2004 The death of Freda Rawlines, of Lockhart Avenue, Moncton, widow of L.G. Rawlines, occurred at her residence on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at the age of 78. Born in Worcestershire Co., England, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Emlyn (Lower) Webb. Her husband Lloyd died December 19, 1988 and her sister Dorothy died March 17, 1996. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by four sons, Chris, Dennis, Dave and Andrew; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rawlings was an avid gardener, having passed her college entry botany exams at the age of 13. Her education was cut short by World War II, and she worked as a china painter, and a crystal cutter and designer in England. As her war-time service, she worked in a munitions factory building incendiary bombs. She moved to Canada in 1946. Visitation will be held from Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Sunday, December 19, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 20, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Chris Vanbuskirk officiating. Interment will be in the Stilesville Cemetery in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, (506) 857-8564.
