BRACE, John. Passed away suddenly Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Sacre-Coeur Hospital. He will be deeply missed by his wife Yvette and children Irene, Jocelyn, Raymond, David, and Janet; and their spouses, his nephew Michael, his fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, as well as numerous friends. Born in Verdun, John Brace was a veteran of the Korean War who served in the Canadian Armed Forces (RCME) for twenty-five years. John was a devoted husband and father who shared his many interests with his children and friends. He was a past president and active member of branch 147 at the Royal Canadian Legion in St. Bruno. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. and funeral services on Wednesday, December 22 at 11 a.m. at Salon Funeraire Urgel Bourgie at 1559 Blvd. Montarville, St. Bruno, Qc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Fondation de L'Hopital Sacre-Coeur de Montreal or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
