SKORESKI, Eleanor Marie 74 years, peacefully at her daughter's home on December 17, 2004. Beloved wife of 55 years to Stan Skoreski. Loving mother of Dana Salvador and husband Sante of Tecumseh. Cherished grandsons, Christopher and Donald. Lifelong best friend to Shirley Laforet and husband Stan. Dear sister of Norma O'Shea and husband the late Bill, Theresa Draves and husband the late Edward, Irene Frishette and the late "Stubby", Catherine Miller and husband Frank, Dorothy Skoreski and husband "Chick", Larry Joseph and wife Sandra, Sharon Polyak and husband Charles, Wayne Joseph and wife Maggie. Eleanor was the first female general supervisor at General Motors Canada, Retiree of G.M. Trim Plant. Visitation will be held on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Almond officiating. Cremation to follow. The family would very much appreciate friends and relatives to donate blood to Canadian Blood Services in Eleanor's memory. A tree will be planted in memory of Eleanor Skoreski in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
