Norman Erwin Howard August 28, 1931 - December 18, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (Burlington Chapel) HOWARD, Norman Erwin – Peacefully after his courageous battle with cancer, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 in his 74th year. Lovingly remembered by his best friend and partner Brenda Parkin. He leaves behind children, Kimberley (Bruce), Cherie, Robyn (Dave), Tracy (Mark), Mark, Jason, Matthew, Sarah and stepson Bryan. Dear grandfather to Rob, Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, Robert, Christopher, Adam, Joshua and Cassandra. He will be missed by his many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister Shirley Ann Connell of Ottawa, brother Ted (Nadine) of British Columbia. Predeceased by parents Edwin John (Jack), and Elizabeth Irene (Betty) Toplis and brother Grant. A retired salesman for Ford, he loved life and lived it out well by enjoying bingo, hockey and golf. During his retirement he also participated as a member of Ancaster Agricultural Society and Carluke Trail Twisters Snowmobile and Horseshoe Club.
