GRONDIN, Rita (nee Bondy) Our mother died peacefully on December 18, 2004, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of Stanley "Bud" (1982), and the cherished mother of Murray (1979) and his wife Wendy (Ouellette), Anita and Tim Soderstrom, Deborah and Carmen Simone, Mary Grondin, Lynn and Dennis Rousseau. She was the precious Meme of Murray, Tom, Christine, Amanda, Jeffrey, and Joseph. She is also survived by her dear sisters-in-law Irene Gignac and Ruth Bondy, and also her nieces and nephews. She is reunited with her beloved parents Walter and Emma Bondy and her devoted brothers Gordon Gignac, Orval Gignac, and Raoul Bondy. Rita was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and a proud grandmother, having resided in the River Canard area her entire life. She was a past member of the River Canard Chumettes, the Altar Society, and the LaSalle Community Choir. If you so desire, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Restoration Fund. Chumette Service Monday 7:00 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday 2:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004, at St. Joseph Church River Canard at 10:30 a.m. (PLEASE NOTE: no procession from funeral home. Family & friends are requested to meet at St. Joseph Church in River Canard from 9:30 a.m. for visiting until the time of service). Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
