BRADY, Raymond Joseph - (Former owner of Kawartha Water Treatment). Passed away at home on Saturday, December 18, 2004 in his 69th year, following a lengthy illness. Much loved husband of Lois Brady (Moore). He will be deeply missed by his children Brian, Leslie Dalliday (Tim), and Tim (Lindsie). Proud grandfather of Rachel, Jack and Raiden. Dear brother of Gary (Joan) and the late Edward (Greta), Eileen Mock (Ron), Helen Wood (Elmer) and Robert (Marie). Pre-deceased by his parents Edward and Margaret Brady. A memorial service will be held at the Warsaw United Church, 919 Water Street, on Wednesday, December 22, 2004. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Dear wife since 1936 to the late Peter Griggs. For Meg's Canadian family, she was mother of Harvey Griggs and his wife Sue and Judith Maxwell and her husband Tony. Grandmother of Cameron and his wife Cory, Andrea and her husband Afshin, Jonathan and his wife Sharon, Simon, Jason and Alison and her partner Theresa. Great-grandmother of Hilary, Hayley and Zoya. Meg and her beloved Peter bought their teen-aged children to Canada from England in 1953, an adventurous move which proved to be most successful. Meg is survived in England by brothers David and Michael Harvey Symes, by sister-in-law Peggy and brother-in-law John Wolledge, and by nieces Margaret, Mary, Tiffany, Katie and their families. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 1:30 pm. Her devotion to family and friends was admired by all. Theodon was well known and respected for her passion and commitment to the social issue of family violence. She will be forever cherished and loved by her best friend and husband of 42 years, Howard (Buck) Robertson and her children Todd (Joanne) Robertson and Tanya (Paul) Stewart. Her grandchildren, Mitchell and Taylor Stewart and Madison Robertson were the apple of her eye and now will be watched by their own special angel. She will join her beloved mom and dad, Alberta and Theodore 'Ted' Calvert, predeceased. Theodon was the dear sister of Dwight (Marilyn) Calvert and Ford (Cathy) Calvert of Omemee.
