McCOY, Robert Gone home to heaven on December 20, 2004 in his 92th year. Husband of 67 years to Audrey (nee Totten). Loved father of Margaret Holmes and husband Allan, Jim McCoy and wife Sue, Maureen Stewart and husband Atholl, Carol Watts and husband Dan. Proud Papa to grandchildren, Colleen and husband Larry, the late David Holmes, Jim, Christine and husband Brad, Patty and husband Straun, Tara and Brendan and great grandchildren Joshua, Felicia, Colin, Sarah, Kate and Christopher. Brother William McCoy and wife Sybil, predeceased by sister Margaret Greenhalgh and survived by her husband Jack of England. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Denver (CL-58). He was a retired printer and lithographer, member of The Historic Vehicle Society of Ontario and Heritage Village, the Windsor Motorcycle Club, the Canadian Vintage Club, the Norton Owners Club, the Rudge Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 188, and Paulin Memorial Presbyterian Church. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Heron Terrace where Bob last resided for their support and care. Bob will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel of the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. E. on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Wendy Paterson officiating. Interment at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
