DRUMMOND, EUGENIA SELENA Eugenia Selena Drummond, daughter of Jessin and Loretta (Hurtle) Walters, born at Parks Creek, NS, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2004 at her daughter's home where she has resided for nearly ten years. Eugenia was 91 years of age. She worked in the early part of her life as a waitress in a Tea Room in Truro, NS. Later employed with Stanfields in NS and after moving to Saint John, NB, worked at the Eastern. Eugenia was a home maker for many years and caregiver for her first husband, Lewis Golden, for a number of years until his death on December 24, 1960. Eugenia is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Robena Pauline and Jaunita, both as children. Her second husband of 33 years, Burdon Drummond, in April, 1995. Also all of her step children, Clair Golding, Ronald Golden, Douglas (Puzz) Golding, Duane Golding and Alvina Bromkosky, Also one granddaughter, Karen Golden and one daughter-in-law, Mildred Golden. Eugenia is survived by two sisters, Roseline Prince of Tracyville and Mabel Moody of Scarborough, Ontario. Two sons, Albert (Ellen) Golden of Tracy and David (Janet) Golden of Saint John. Two daughters, Violet (Larry) Phillips, Tracy and Delores (David) Bell, Tracy. Two chosen sons, Larry Phillips of Tracy and Rexford (Shelby) Phillips of Ontario. Ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 20 step grandchildren. A number of great-step grandchildren and great great step grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Three step daughter in laws, Margaret Golding, Edrie Golding and Mary Golding all of Tracy. She was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, loved her flower gardens, picking blueberries and fishing. She was greatly loved by all her family and will be greatly missed. Eugenia loved her children, grandchildren and of more recent years passed many hours playing with her great grandchildren who were dear to her heart. Over the past few years, Brenda Connolly and Barbara Thomas, her homemakers, became very dear to her. As a family we wish to thank them for the kindness shown to her. Arrangements are in the care of the Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, 368-2413 Visitation will be held at the Tracy United Baptist Church in the Memorial Room from 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday, December 27. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 3:00 PM. at the Tracy United Baptist Church with Interment at a later date.
