BRADSHAW, OLIVE ROBERTA - Mrs. Olive Roberta Bradshaw, wife of the late David S. Bradshaw, of Saint John, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born 1935 in Saint John, Olive was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Sarah H. (McNeill) McLeod. Olive was a long time member of Waterloo Street Baptist Church, she served as a director of Waterloo Street Baptist Church, Past Treasurer of Waterloo Street Baptist Church for 15 years; member of Waterloo Street Senior Choir; member of UBWN Society and the Senior Sunday School. She was a past volunteer at Saint John Regional Hospital, and a member of the Support Staff of Fundy Funeral Home. Olive had worked for Pascal Emerson Ltd. for 44 years as an Office Manger. She is survived by her son Kevin David Bradshaw (Susan) of Saint John and her daughter Deborah Lynn Flewelling (Wayne) of Riverview; five grandchildren: Kevin Flewelling (Rachael), Shallon Lewis, Jeffery Bradshaw, Kelly Bradshaw and Rebecca Gregg; five great grandchildren: Austin Blackier, Dakota Flewelling, Taylor Flewelling, Ethen Lewis and Alaina Wylie Fraser; sisters Marguerite Hopey (Walter) of St. Martin's, Norveline Hopey (Percy) of Saint John, Penny Berry of Orangeville, Ontario and Norma Sherwood (Larry) of Bains Coroner; godchildren: Johanne Sexton, Joanne Hovey and Andrea MacDonald; several cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. Besides her parents Norman and Sarah McLeod and husband David, she was predeceased by brothers Harley, Raymond and Lawrence McLeod; sister Elmira Dobbin and step mother Helen McLeod. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Waterloo Street Baptist Church on Wednesday December 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Martin's Community Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to Waterloo Street Baptist Church, The Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or to the charity of the donor's choice. Also, a Special Thank You to Dr. Dolan, Dr. Bill Johnson, Dr. Smolinski, Nurses and Staff of 4BN, and the Oncology Department Saint John Regional Hospital.
