Lillian Olive Alward Lillian Olive Alward of Taylor's Special Care Home, formerly of Petitcodiac, age 79, passed away Monday, December 27, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Born May 22, 1925 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl (Cowie) Boyce. She attended the Salisbury United Church and the Salisbury Monday Morning Merry Makers. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Women's Institute, and the Kodiac Kats. She was a Veteran of World War II, affiliated with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 6, Moncton and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.41, Petitcodiac, who will be holding a memorial service at the funeral home, Wednesday at 7pm. She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Taylor (Gary) of Upper Blackville; a son, Paul (Susan) of Second North River; grandchildren, John (Tina), Tammy Brake (Troy), Keri Lewis (Robin), Krista (companion, John Sherwood), Kimberly Lewis (Drew), Kenny; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Hinson. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 2pm. Burial will be held in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Salisbury United Church, the Petitcodiac Ambulance or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
