Margaret Thelma Steeves 1923 - 2004 Margaret Thelma Steeves, of West Lane, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the age of 81. Born in Dawson Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Dola (Lutes) Jonah. She was a retired cook at Grandview Manor in Berwick, NS. Margaret was a member of The Ladies Auxiliary of Dorchester Legion Branch # 16. She is survived by daughters, Vicky Nosworthy (Lloyd) of Lower Sackville, NS, Diana Normand (Rolly) of Hookset, NH, and Karen Thurber (Darrell) of Moncton; sons, Douglas Harris (Jackie) of Moncton and Neil Harris (Ford) of Toronto; sister, Pauline Briggs of Stilesville; brother, Enoch "Zeke" Jonah of Riverview; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Harris in 1968; two sons, Gordon Harris and Larry Harris; two sisters, Ruby Wilson and Cora Gould. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be an open house for those wishing to express their condolences to the family at 101 West Lane in Moncton on Friday, December 31, from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mary Anningston officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, (506) 857-8564.
