He is survived by his loving wife Violet of 61 years, one brother Leonard (wife Thelma) of Regina, sisters-in-law Dorothy Hagan of Regina and Carol Hagan of Red Deer, Alberta and several nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Jane Johnson and one brother Johnnie. Stan was born October 23, 1918 in Regina. He was raised in a Christian home on a farm near Duval, Saskatchewan. Stan accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at an evangelical meeting in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan in his early teenage years. Stan and Violet spent their retirement years at Storie Manor. Presently, Violet resides at Pioneer Village Nursing Home. Stan and Violet’s marriage was a testimony of their devotion and unconditional love to each other. They have been helpmates for one another.
