Allison Aileen Maddison 1977 - 2004 HAMILTON, ON - The death of Allison Aileen Maddison, 27, occurred on December 31, 2004, in Hamilton, Ontario, after a brief illness. Allison was the daughter of Aileen and Donald Maddison of Windsor, Ontario and Cape Brulé, NB. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Andria of Germany; brother, Stephen of Toronto; partner, Adam MacDonald; niece and nephew Adelina and Constantine Lund; several aunts, uncles and cousins in Ontario, and an aunt and cousins in Moncton. Predeceased by her grandparents, Dr. G. E. (Ned) and Dorothy (Davison) Maddison. Allison was a world traveller. She climbed and reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, lived and worked in Ethiopia, taught English in Thailand, and travelled extensively through Asia and Europe. She had been enrolled in a Masters Degree program at the University of Guelph (Rural Planning and Development). A funeral service was held in Ontario on Thursday, January 6th, 2005, interment in New Brunswick in the summer.MADDISON, Allison Aileen Our hearts are aching as we announce the passing of our cherished daughter, Allison Aileen Maddison, of Guelph, Ontario. Allison was born in Cornwall, Ontario. After a brief illness, she passed away in Hamilton, Ontario, at the age of 27. A world traveler, Allison climbed and reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. She lived and worked in Ethiopia and toured India and the Andaman Islands. She taught English in Thailand and travelled extensively through-out Asia and Europe. Last year Allison worked for The Coady Institute of St. Francis Xavier University. She was presently enrolled in a Masters Degree program at the University of Guelph. (Rural Planning and Development). Allison is survived by her loving partner Adam MacDonald of Pomquet, Nova Scotia, and is sadly missed by the MacDonald family. Allison is also survived by her parents Donald and Aileen (Colautti) Maddison of Windsor, Ontario. She is mourned by her loving sister Andria Maddison - Lundi (Gerrit) of Bad Tolz, Germany, and their children Adelina and Constantin. Allison is the beloved sister of Stephen Maddison and his wife Grainne (Toronto). She will be missed by relatives and friends around the world. Allison's spirit will live on. She has had numerous enriching life experiences. In her short time here with us, she has reached out and touched many hearts. We have been truly blessed to have had her in our lives. Memorial Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Road East, on Wednesday January 5, 2005, from 6 - 9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome to share in celebrating Allison's life, at St. Anne's Church, Walkerville, (2135 Richmond) on Thursday, January 6, 2005, from 9:00am until time of funeral mass at 10:00am Interment will take place at Shediac Cape, New Brunswick, at a later date. In kindness to the family, donations to the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Fund would be appreciated.
