BRIGNALL, Edna Florence (Laffrenier) (nee Sampson) - 87 years who passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 at the Extendicare York surrounded by her loving grandchildren Vicki, Janet and Cheryl. Born in Toronto, she owned and operated the family business with her husband, the local restaurant, grocery store, service station and Greyhound Bus Depot for Serpent River. Coming to Sudbury she worked as a cook at Cedar Green Golf Course for many years. Beloved wife of Benjamin Brignall predeceased 1997 and Isaac Laffrenier predeceased 1974. Loving mother of Mary Laffrenier of Mississauga, Joe Laffrenier of Sault Ste. Marie (wife Ivy of Blind River), Leona Tucker of Idaho, Mildred Boucher of Haileybury, predeceased by Joyce Walsh. Special grandmother of Vicki (husband Martin Lee) of Wahnapitae, Jane (husband Steve Walsh) (Perry Kimakowich) and Cheryl (husband Barry Hepting) both of Garson and Kim (husband Gerry Armitage) of North Bay. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Edward and Leah Sampson both predeceased. Dear sister of Lynn Haapala of Sudbury, Eileen Champagne of Timmins, predeceased by Rory, Velma Peters and Patricia Montgomery. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Thursday, October 7th, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the St. John Cemetery, Garson.
