VLAHOVICH, Gordana (Krstic) - In loving memory of Gordana Vlahovich, 83 years, who passed away Tuesday morning, October 19, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved wife of Mirko Vlahovich predeceased 1983. Loving mother of Mylena (husband Louis Mayrand) of Sudbury, Dr. Alex (wife Dr. Slavica) of Ottawa and Sandra (husband Michael Fievoli) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Anne, Mathew, Andrea, Angelica and Alexander. Dear sister of Vida Toyic of Toronto and Prvoslav predeceased. Born in Zabari, Serbia, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Sudbury General Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1970. Gordana graduated from Laurentian University in Philosophy and French in 1971. She had a great passion for the arts, travelling and painting. She was a proud and dedicated member of Laurentian University Museum and Arts Center Acquisition Committee. Gordana was an extraordinary person who devoted her life to her family, especially her grandchildren. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street. Funeral service in St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, Antwerp Street, Friday, October 22, 2004 at 12 noon. Interment in the Parklawn Cemetery. Prayers 7 p.m. Thursday.
