LENNOX, Rita Mary (nee Campbell) - The family announce with sorrow the death of our beloved mother and grandmother on October 29th, 2004, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Ralph Lennox (predeceased 2000) of 50 years. Rita leaves a rich legacy of six children; Mervin (wife Carol Strain) of Sudbury, Tom (wife Karen Martin) of Capreol, Blaine (wife Darquise Genereaux) and Cheryl both of St. Catharines, Darlene (husband Mike Staffen) and Sharon (husband Jack Caswell) both of Sudbury. Cherished Gramma Rita of 15 beautiful grandchildren; Krista Lennox-Fryd (husband Brian Fryd), Ryan Lennox (wife Christine Reed), Tom Jr., Jessica and Trevor Lennox, Jordon Lennox, Kathryn and Kyle Anderson, Carolynn, Jenna, Alexander Michlowski and Jack Staffen, Steven, David and Allison Caswell. Dear daughter of Cyril and Agnes (Villeneuve) Campbell both predeceased. Dear sister of Frances Belich (husband Marino), Doris Harriman (husband Arthur predeceased), Margaret Christopher (husband Roger), Janet Cappadocia (husband Mike), Donald predeceased (wife Betty predeceased), Harold (wife Millie), Desmond predeceased (wife Marilyn), Earl (wife Patty), Ivan (wife Jocelyne), Allan (wife Joan-Ann). She will be fondly remembered by her Campbell and Lennox extended families. Rita was born in Capreol on March 17, 1929, she was raised within the large loving Campbell family. She developed her keen fashion sense working as a young woman at Sbrega's Ladies Wear. She met and dated Ralph in Capreol after WWII and they married on his birthday, September 27, 1949. She was an inspirational stay at home mom for her children. Her family was her Life. Rita took on a new role as a business owner with Karita's Ceramic Shop before retiring to her golden years. A true nurturing woman, she will always be remembered for her beautiful knitting and delicious baking. She was an active member of the C.W.L. Rita loved to golf, travel, solve puzzles, garden, and, care and love her family. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, HANMER/CAPREOL CHAPEL, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. (Friends may call 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Monday). Prayers 4:45 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol, Tuesday, November 2nd, 2004 at 11 a.m. Cremation. Donations to Sudbury Palliative Care Association would be appreciated.
