CONVERSANO, Michele "Mike" In loving memory of Michele "Mike" Conversano, 81 years of Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron, who passed away Friday morning, November 5th, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Accadia, Foggia, Italy and married Giovanna (Salvatore) in Accadia, Italy in 1950. Michele came to Sudbury in 1954 from Italy. He lived many years on Burton Ave. A Roman Catholic he belonged to Holy Trinity Church. He was an operator at the Copper Cliff Smelter having 34 years service at INCO, retiring in 1988. He was a passionate cook & wine maker who was a welcoming and gracious host to all who came to his home. He spent many happy times at his camp on Wahnapitae River. The focus of his life was his loving family in whom he took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. Beloved husband of Giovanna (Salvatore) Conversano predeceased 1982. Loving father of Dominic (wife Christine) of Guelph, Frank (wife Jeannine) of Whitby and Nella (husband John MacKinnon) of Val Caron. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Michael, Joanna, Valerie, Anna, Connor, Brett and Andrew. Dear son of Dominic and Gaetana Conversano predeceased. Dear brother of Carmela Pasquareillo of New Market, Graziella D'Alessandro of Italy and the late Antonio and Salvatore Conversano both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Ave., Sudbury, Monday, November 8th, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
