KENOPIC, Larry Michael - In loving memory of Larry Kenopic, 81 years, who passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2004 at the Village of Taunton Mills Nursing Home in Whitby, Ontario. Larry was born in Renfrew, had served in the Navy and came to Sudbury in 1947 where he married Lori Therrien and had 6 children. In 1971 he married Joan Ann Yensen and adopted her son. He worked at Inco as an Industrial Mechanice Millwright, and Union Local 6500 Steward, retiring after 35 years in 1986. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br., 224, Copper Cliff, Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus, President of the Nickel Club, Vice-President of the Sudbury & District Beekeepers Assoc. He enjoyed farm life with his family, producing honey and fishing. In his later years, he loved to travel with his loving companion Noella Angers. He was a volunteer for many years at Sudbury Science North. Larry will be remembered as a loving family member and friend who had a great sense of humour and always willing to help others. Loving father to Michael Kenopic (wife Evelyn), Marlene Boetto (husband Lee), Shirlie Tebaldi (husband John), Bonnie Azevedo (husband Manny), Jim Kenopic (wife Nancy), and the late Karen MacLean, predeceased 1988, and James Gordon Kenopic-Yensen, predeceased 1981. Dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Price, Dorothy Kasaboski, Doreen Jeffrey (husband Joe), Irene Kenopic (Sister St. Anthony), and late sisters predeceased Brigid (Sister of Service), Margaret Myher, Catherine Mary, and late brothers Jack, Tom, Charles. Cremation under the care of Accettone Funeral Home, in Ajax, and Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home in Sudbury. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 45 'A' Street, Lively. Interment at the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery.
