DESCHAMPS, Helen (nee Marois) In loving memory of Helen Deschamps (nee Marois), 78 years who passed away Monday morning, November 22, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Helene's love of family kept her in the home caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved attending "the kids" sports and school events as well as theatrical plays. She shared that love as Bagheera for many years with the First Hanmer Cub Pack. One of her proudest moments was attaining the Wood Badge while serving for over 10 years. She loved to travel across Canada to visit her children but the front porch remained a gathering place for neighbours and family alike. Beloved wife of Leonard Deschamps deceased March 18, 2001. Loving mother of Donald (wife Carolyn) and Jeanne Giroux (husband Claude) both of Embrun, Roland (wife Julie) of Spring Bay, Maurice (wife Barbara) of Val Caron, Gerald (wife Diane) and Lise Szewczyk (husband Roman) both of Hanmer, Therese Finkle (husband Dan) of Richmond Hill and Denis (wife Lesley) of Val Therese. Will be sadly missed by 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren (1 predeceased). Daughter of Ludger and Victoria (nee Bernier) Marois both deceased. Dear sister of Bernadette Deschamps of Val Therese, Rita Rouleau of Sudbury and predeceased by Irene Bilski, Wilfrid, Albert, Leo, Alex, Grace Martin, Lucienne Lauzon, Alice Bertrand and May Anger. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family friends and neighbours. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive (at Hwy 69 N.) Hanmer. Funeral Mass at Ste Marguerite d'Youville Church, 4290 Hwy 69 N., Val Thérèse, Thursday, November 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury.
