BRUNET, Anna (née Jubinville) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Anna Georgette Brunet (née Jubinville). Anna passed away at the St. Joseph Health Centre on Tuesday, November 23, 2004. Loving wife of Lucien Brunet (predeceased in 2002), beloved mother of Anita (husband Donald) and Edouard. Cherished mémére of Alain, François (friend Annie) and Mélanie (friend Bill). Predeceased by brothers Edouard and Henri and sisters Aldéa and Alberta. She leaves behind a brother Noël (wife Renée) and brother-in-law Lionel Major. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special friend to Clarissa and Tom and Rita Latendresse. Born in 1924, Anna began working at the age of 13 and, until she retired, she worked in many fields, but always with a focus on customer service. In their almost 60 years of marriage, Anna and Lucien faced numerous challenges and shared countless happy times. She was a caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who always had time for the people in her life. A kind person, she was loved by all who met her. Anna loved knitting and shared her gift with many family members, friends and acquaintances. She will be missed. As a firm believer in life long learning and in education, Anna has donated her body to the University of Toronto Medical School. She hoped that, in death, she would help young people in their medical studies. Due to failing health, in the last months of her life, Anna was often hospitalized and she became a resident at Extendicare York. The family would like to thank the health care workers at the St. Joseph Health Centre and at Laurentian Hospital. We would also like to thank the staff at Extendicare York and particularly the health care workers on the 4th floor (Chantal, Tammy, Monique, Shirley and all the others who helped Anna). You showed Anna respect and care during her stay with you and you made the last months of her life as comfortable as was possible. Thank you. Donations to the charity of your choice. "Weep not for me though I am gone Into that gentle night Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul's sweet flight." Constance Jenkins A celebration of her life will be held at Ste Anne des Pins Church on Friday, November 26 at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
