SANDUL, Violet, Bernadette (nee Kimberley) - In loving memory of Violet Sandul, 84 years of Sudbury, who passed away Tuesday evening, November 23, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in Empress, Alberta, Violet settled in Sudbury in 1938. She had been a registered nurse for several years. Later she had been an engraver at Robert Brown Jewellers for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She had been an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #76, Sudbury. She was an avid cribbage player, keen reader and she enjoyed darts. Violet will be remembered as a very creative person with a wonderful sense of humour who was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of William Sandul, predeceased 1989. Loving mother of William "Sandy" Sandul of R.R. #3 Sudbury and Lynn Biscaro (husband Ray) of Mannheim. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay, Brittney and Christina. Special friend to Aline Hall of Sudbury. Dear daughter of Jack and Mary (Durrell) Kimberley, predeceased. Dear sister of Jack (wife June) of California, Grace Wazny of Sudbury, Bill (wife Helen) of Oshawa, Arlene Simms (husband Clarence) of Hamilton, Bob of Keswick, Edith Nichols (husband Fred) of Bracebridge, Larry (wife Pearl) of Keswick and the late Beth Zinz, Jan Birch, Rooney, Garth and, Don Kimberley, all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and her feline friend Tuffy. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Friday, November 26, 2004 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday under the auspices of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #76, Sudbury. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
