BURNS, Isaac Wm. "Ike" In loving memory of Isaac Wm. "Ike" Burns, 86 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Friday morning, December 31st, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Gore Bay and he married Evelyn (Cameron) in 1938 in Sudbury. A longtime Sudbury resident, Ike had lived many years in Lively. A well respected prospector he owned and operated Isaac Burns Exploration Co. for 30 years. He appreciated the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Bethel Masonic Lodge #699 AF & AM. Ike will be remembered as a determined man with a strong character. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Cameron) Burns predeceased April 15th, 2004. Loving father of Dorothy LeBlanc (husband Roger) of Val Caron, Robert (wife Suzanne) of Vancouver Island, B.C., John (wife Margaret) of Ajax and the late Thomas, Joan, and Faye all predeceased. Dear father-in-law of Josephine of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear son of Chris and Bertha Burns predeceased. Dear brother of Tom, John, Angus, Marg, Mary, Doreen, and Dorothy all predeceased. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, January 5th, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday under the auspices of the Bethel Lodge #699 AF & AM.
