Ronald Douglas "Ron" Mills PORT WILLIAMS/KENTVILLE, NS - Ronald Douglas "Ron" Mills, 91, of Wolfville, Kings County, formerly of Port Williams, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Shediac Cape, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Otty and Eva (Cannan) Mills. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville. He was also a fruit farmer and was employed for a number of years as a service manager with Massey Ferguson throughout Eastern Canada and Quebec. He is survived by a daughter, Margaret (Douglas) Nickerson, Wolfville, Kings County; three sons, Douglas, Wolfville, Sandy (Carole), Hantsport, Hants County, Allan (Catherine), Canning, Kings County; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Thomas and Collin Mills and Andrea Nickerson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his wife, Eula; a sister, in infancy; two brothers, George and Edward, both in infancy. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2004 with a Royal Canadian Legion Service to be held at 7:00p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. all in the W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2004 in St. Martin's in the Woods Anglican Church, Shediac Cape, New Brunswick, Archdeacon Malcolm Berry officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the W.C.
