Lillian Magdalen Brewer March 28, 1918 - September 20, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) BREWER, Lillian Magdalen - Bedford, formerly of Terence Bay, died September 20, 2004, in the Palliative Care Unit, VG Site, QEII, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Barbara (Jollimore) Bartlett. She was a past member of Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, and a present member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Bedford. Lillian was a very humble, loving and caring lady. She had many God-given gifts and was a very good Christian. She is survived by son, Barrie (Margie), Quispamsis, N.B.; sister, Adeline Shubley, Terence Bay; sister-in-law, Muriel Bartlett, Terence Bay; grandchildren, Daniel (Barb), Quispamsis, N.B.; Michelle, Quispamsis, N.B.; great-grandson, Mackenzie; many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Arthur; brothers, John, Eldon, Lloyd, Harry; sisters, Alice Brophy, Cordelia "Dee" Walsh. A memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bedford, Rev. Joseph MacKinnon officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations to Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or a charity of choice.
