Lloyd Dixon, 74 PRESCOTT -- Lloyd Francis Dixon, 74, of RR 2, Prescott, died October 18 at Brockville General Hospital. He was born February 26, 1930 at Park Hill, Ont., to Walter Dixon and the former Sadie McKeever. On February 20, 1960 he married Elizabeth McMillan at St. Mark's Church, Prescott. Mr. Dixon worked as a technician for the Ministry of Natural Resources until his retirement. He liked to carve duck decoys in his spare time. His main interests were his family and close friends. He is survived by his wife Liz; two sons, Bob and wife Mary Anne and Chris; grandchildren Colleen, Olivia and Kristen; brothers Lawrence and wife Mary, Dick and wife Rosemary, Norman and wife Betty, and Don and wife Sharon; sister Betty Goulden and husband Graham, brother-in-law Herb Yalden, sister-in-law Mary Caldwell, several nieces and nephews and close friends Ken and Betsy Lucas. He was predeceased by his parents and mother-in-law Jane Rose McMillan. Friends called at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, Prescott. The funeral was held October 21 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with Father John Appelman officiating. Burial followed at Maynard Cemetery. The pallbearers were Tony Stevens, Harry Leeflang, Ed Robinson, George Robinson, Roy Landon and Doug Reynolds. Memorial donations were directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
