Lois Willis, 75 Lois Arlene Willis, a former Brockville area resident, died of cancer November 6 at her home in Rochester, N.Y. She was 75. Born in North Augusta on August 8, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph Herbert King and the former Elinor Davis. She was raised in North Augusta and New Dublin, attending public schools there and graduating from Brockville Collegiate Institute where she attended public schools. She moved to Rochester, N.Y., and worked in the office at Eastman Kodak and later in the office of the stock transfer department for Chase Manhattan Bank in Rochester. She retired about 12 years ago. She identified with Ascension Episcopal Church in Rochester and enjoyed playing in a bridge club there. She loved caring for her home, yard and gardens and very much enjoyed the company of her neighbours. Mrs. Willis is survived by two sons, Douglas and Donald Willis, both of Rochester, and daughter Debra Haar and husband Sande of Plainsboro, N.J., as well as daughter-in-law Colleen Willis of Rochester and several grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother-in-law Alan Beattie of Brockville, sisters-in-law Eve Adrian of Brockville and Jeannie Willis of Stoney Creek, Ont., as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins in the Brockville area. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Neil Willis, her sister Jean Beattie and her brother Carl King. Barclay Funeral Home, Brockville, took care of arrangements. A memorial service was held November 27 at the Gilmour Chapel, at Oakland Cemetery, with Rev. Gordon Mintz, of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brockville, officiating.
