BUTORAC, Mary Suzanne (née Bridgman) - On November 30, 2008, after an eight year battle with MSA (Multiple Systems Atrophy). Suzanne passed away peacefully and with great dignity on her 45th wedding anniversary, surrounded by her family who adored and loved her deeply. Suzanne was loving, devoted and compassionate and is survived by her husband, Donald and her children Mark (Mira), Jason (Tamara), Paula (William), Andrea (Robert), and David, and predeceased by her firstborn, Natalie. She was the adored grandmother of Jake, Nicholas, Nastasia, Lauren, Hannah, Gabriel and Christian. Sue was born and raised in Espanola with her mother, Bernadette, and father, Melvin Bridgman, and was beloved by her siblings, Paula (Hugh), Claude (Janet), John (Carol) and Bernard. Suzanne graduated from the Marymount School of Nursing in 1962. She was an elegant woman who led her life with grace, wit, dignity, kindness and generosity. Sue was an extraordinary and devoted mother who continually gave of herself to family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her and she will be missed greatly. She is leaving the arms of those who admired her and is entering into the arms of her dearest daughter, Natalie, her mother and father, her brother, Bernard, and grandchildren, Bernadette and Jean. There she will talk, laugh, walk, smile and continue to share her endless love. We want to give special thanks to Dr. Anderson (St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto) and Dr. Chuang and Dr. Lang (Toronto Western Hospital) for their care and compassion and a special thank you to Dr. Doug Milloy and to Suzanne's special angels, her nurses, Roslyn and Rachael. Visitation will be held at the KOPRIVA TAYLOR COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905- 844-2600) Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 7-9pm, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday at St. Andrew's Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. Multiple Systems Atrophy is a rare and unkind disease that has no cure. In lieu of flowers, a foundation has been established in Suzanne's name and memorial donations can be sent to the Suzanne Butorac Foundation, Account # 63-6313425, c/o TD Canada Trust, 282 Lakeshore Rd. E., Oakville, ON L6J 5B2 11341402
