She was the last surviving child of Andrew and Anna Boyko. In her early years she lived in Bissett, Manitoba, where she and Steve raised their family. She enjoyed playing baseball and curling. Her garden and flowers were her pride and joy. In 1960, they moved to Winnipeg. She was an excellent cook and no one ever left her place hungry. She also enjoyed her bingo games and her card games. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Iris (Ernie) Lindgren, Vicky (Gary) Hunter, one son Harold (Valerie) Prysazniuk, and special friends George and Mary Arndt. Her love is shown in her grandchildren Randi (Dennis), A.J. (Kristina), Michele (Tim), Nicole, Stacy (Mike), Grant (Gerry), Tara, Brian (Lacey), Richard (Melanie) and Curtis. Nettie was proud of her eight great grandchildren (number nine to be arriving soon). The family wish to express thanks and appreciation to the nurses and doctors on the third floor of the Health Sciences Centre. Fowers gratefully declined. If so desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society. Prayers will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
