Edmée Leger Edmée Leger, 83, wife of the late Robert Leger, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born September 1, 1920 in Portage, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Emma (Melanson) LeBlanc. She is survived by two daughters, Murielle Leger (Walter) and Yvette Gould both of Moncton; four sons, Alfred (Sharon) of Cambridge, ON, Roger (Paulette) and Hector (Patricia), both of Moncton, Rhéal (Pauline) of Lakeside Estates; a sister, Yvonne Daley (Tony) of Toronto; two brothers, Ernest (Rita) of Dieppe, Henri of Toronto; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Robert, she is predeceased by a son, Robert "Jr", and infant daughter Bertha; four sisters, Bertha, Anna, Léa, Marguerite; four brothers, Arthur, Emile, Albert, and Adelard. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral Roman Catholic Church, Moncton.
