Girvan L. Beers Girvan L. Beers, 75, formerly of Harcourt passed away at Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, February 12, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Targetville, son of the late Thomas and Ezilla (Roberts) Beers. Girvan was employed with Swifts and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #75, Harcourt. Girvan will be sadly missed by his daughters, Beverly Haywood (Earl), Moncton, Sandra Agnew (Paul), Riverview, Lucy Bourgeois, Harcourt, Jacqueline Bourgeois (Guy Chiassion), Kent Junction; sons, Lloyd Beers (Anya), Moncton, Malcolm Beers (Carol), Riverview, Greg Bourgeois (Jean), Moncton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Annie Carson, Esther King, Beulah Flanagan, Moncton; brothers, Thomas Beers, Ernest Beers, Moncton. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Geneva (Bourgeois) Beers (August 1992); son, Darryl Beers (September 2000); sisters, Blanche Leet, Lucy Hare; brothers, Farris Beers and Johnny Wylie. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Friday 7 to 9; Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, February 15, 2004 time to be announced. Interment, St. Paul Anglican Church Cemetery, Browns Yard.
