MOREHOUSE, MALCOLM (MAC) Devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, Malcolm (Mac) Morehouse of Upper Keswick, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Zealand, NB, he was the son of Edith (Burtt) Morehouse and the late Haskell Morehouse. Mac was a self employed Building Contractor owning Morehouse Construction Ltd. Prior to his own business, he was employed by Canadian Pacific Railroad. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, where he was very active serving as Warden and a Member of the Vestry. He was a recipient of the Diocesan Sesquicentennial Award of Merit. Mac is survived by wife Zula (Wilson) Morehouse; three daughters, Cheryl Jewett (Paul) of Douglas, Patsy Jewett (Paul) of Burtts Corner and Janice Wallace (Ross) of Burlington, ON; five grandchildren, Lynsey, Graeme, Chelsey, Nicholas and Teri Ann; one sister, Priscilla MacDonald (Douglas) of Burtts Corner; two brothers, Douglas Morehouse (Margaret) of Ontario and Hughie Morehouse (Edith) of Burtts Corner; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by two infant brothers, Phillip and Arden. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2004 at 2:30 pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Zealand, NB with Rev. Patricia Drummond officiating assisted by Canon John Lownds and Rev. Ian Wetmore. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
