WEAVER, FREDERICK (FRED) W. WILLIAM - Peacefully at the Ridgewood Veterans Hospital South Bay on February 22, 2004 Frederick (Fred) W. Weaver of Saint John West husband of Jean (Dickson) Weaver. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late George and Mildred (Craft) Weaver. Fred was employed with the Department of National Revenue, Customs and Excise for 35 years retiring in 1981. He served overseas for three and a half years with the Royal Canadian Air Force in North Africa and England. He was discharged with the rank of Flying Officer. He was a member of St. George's Anglican Church. Surviving in addition to his wife, Jean, are one son Daryl and his wife Doris of Windsor, Ont., two daughters Cheryl Corney and her husband Gerald of Hillsborough, N.B., Jill Ahearn of Saint John, three brothers Kenneth and his wife Shirley of Saint John West, Donald of Windsor Ont., Norman of Saint John West, one sister Marjorie O'Toole of Saint John West, seven grandchildren Scott, Jeffery, Lisa, Trent, Tara, Jeremy and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harold and sister Joan. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at "Fallsview" Chapel on Wednesday February 25th, 2004 at 1 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Following the interment a reception will take place at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center
