WEBB, LORRAINE GAY (KILBURN) Following a lifelong struggle with many health challenges, the death of Lorraine Gay Webb occurred on Monday, February 23, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. The daughter of Irving Allison Kilburn and Josephine Mahala Kilburn (Keith) of Lower Kingsclear, NB. Lorraine spent over 15 years working at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, a profession that she thoroughly enjoyed and missed greatly when illness prevented her from continuing. Lorraine had numerous friends and touched the lives of many with her positive attitude, remarkable strength of character and quick wit. Lorraine was a kind and compassionate person. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Tim; son, Corey; brother, Keith Kilburn and wife Paula of Lower Kingsclear, NB; mother and father-inlaw, Joanne and Norman Webb of New Maryland, NB; brother-in-law, Terry and wife Kim of Wolfville, NS; nieces and nephews, Erin Kennedy (Kilburn), Hannah Webb, Matthew Kilburn and Samuel Webb and a special canine friend and constant companion, Tawney. Lorraine was predeceased by beloved daughter, Trisha Dawn. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, February 27th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 28th , 2004 at 2:00 pm. Ven. John Sharpe will officiate. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Thanks to all who tended to Lorraine's health care over the years with a very special thanks to doctors, nurses, staff and dear friends at the Fredericton and Saint John Dialysis Units for all their kindness and support.
