MARSHALL, MARY JOAN - Mary Joan Marshall, wife of the late James William Marshall, passed on in the loving Arms of Jesus, on February 25, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Rubena (MacLellan) Bullock. She was a member of Edith Avenue United Baptist Church where she was a Life Member of the Women's Missionary Society. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 34 and belonged to the Edith Avenue United Baptist Church Senior Citizens Group. She will be remembered as a precious and loving mother to her daughters Jean (Larry) Dow-Comeau of Quispamsis, Margaret Rose (Douglas) Cook of Fredericton, and is survived by her daughter-in-law Ina Marshall of Titusville, her thirteen grandchildren and her thirty great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Louise (Harvey) Doiron, her special nieces Geraldine Bettle and Jean Housler and several nieces and nephews. Her son Ronald W. Marshall, sisters Ellen Bullock, Margaret Bradley and Dorothy Arbo and her brothers William and James Bullock predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2004, at 11:00 AM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to Edith Avenue United Baptist Church, the Gideon Bible Plan or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
