Frederick Clayton Rolfe 1931-2004 RIVERSIDE-ALBERT, NB - Frederick Clayton Rolfe, 72, of RiversideAlbert, N.B. passed away on February 26, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital with his family by his side. Clayton was born in Riverside-Albert, N.B. on December 7, 1931, the son of the late Roy and Bernice (Kennie) Rolfe. He worked in the Parts Department at Lounsburys in Moncton and Albert, N.B. and then worked as Parts Manager and Shop Foreman at General Motors Dealerships in Newmarket and Kings City, Ontario. He later owned and operated Rolfe's Grocery in RiversideAlbert, N.B. for ten years before retiring. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church and was involved with the Holy Ghost Cemetery Commission. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, gardening and snowmobiling. One of his favorite activities was the time spent camping with his family. He also loved to travel. He was a very special man who loved his family very much. He had a very gentle, kind and caring manner about him. His family was always his first priority in his life and he will always be remembered for being a very devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Joan (Smith) Rolfe; his four daughters, Marla Lane (Brian) of Thunder Bay, Ont., Kim Veisbergs (Zigi) of Scarborough, Ont., Victoria Weir (Chris) of Stoney Creek, N.B., Leigh Ann Rolfe of Riverview, N.B.; a sister Ursula Morrissey of Moncton, N.B.; a brother, Gerald Rolfe (Mildred) of Little Britain, Ont.; his seven precious grandchildren, Laurie, Lindsay, Shannon, Heather, Kathryn, Matthew and Nicholas. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Howard Morrissey and by a niece Sharon Morrissey. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday evening, February 29 from 7 to 9pm with Parish Prayers and sharing of memories at 8:30pm. The funeral Mass will be held from the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Monday, March 1 at 10am with Father Jeff Doucette officiating. Internment will be held in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, N.B., in the spring. Donations to the Holy Ghost Cemetery Commission, Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital - Kidney Dialysis Department. or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, 734-2780
