LONG, BETTY M. - The death of Betty M. Long, of Hampton, occurred February 27, 2004 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Passekeag, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Marjorie (Smith) Long. She is survived by six sisters Sylvia Chow of Toronto, Dorothy Roberts of Berwick, Susan Woodley (Rus) of Saint John, Judy Russell (Eddy) of Hampton, Lynn Cripps of Saint John, Margo Long Poitras (Steven) of Norton; seven brothers George and special friend Lois Duffus of Saint John, Elbert (Evelyn) of Saint John, Murray (Barb) of Hampton, John (Norine) of Saint John, Ronnie of Hampton, Stephen "Flat" (Gail) of Hampton, Gerry (Carol) of Saint John; several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #28 Ladies Auxillary where she was a member of the Ladies Dart League and an avid Bingo player. She was also a member of the Hampton Baptist Church. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday at Hampton Baptist Church with service at 2:00pm. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery at a later date. Donations to donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Sunday and Monday. There will be a Ladies Auxillary service at the funeral home Sunday at 7pm. www.reidsfh.com
