BOWMAN, Audrie Mae - Early morning on Friday October 15, 2004, Audrie was reunited with the love of her life, Bob. Audrie Bowman, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, age 75 years. Devoted loving wife and best friend of Bob for over 50 years, who predeceased her in July 2003. Married September 27, 1952. Cherished and treasured mother of Stephanie and her husband Chris Breed of Kitchener. Proud, caring and cheerful Gramma to Cory and Ryan. Sister of Marian. Sister-in-law and special friend of Irene. Audrie is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Emma Otto and C.K. Berg. She was born in the "big city" of Baden and graduated from Eulers Business College. Upon graduation she was employed for six years as the secretary to the Mayor of Kitchener, Mr. Charles Lipps. While living in Sault Ste. Marie, Audrie was a title searcher at the Sault Ste. Marie Registry office for the law firm of Piner, Greco and Shunock. She was a member of the A.C.T. Ladies Auxiliary, the Sault Ste. Marie Figure Skating Club (Sec. Treasurer) and the Sault Curlers Association. She enjoyed knitting and was an expert seamstress. Audrie spent the last ten years in Kitchener enjoying the company of her friends/extended family in the activity room at her "big house", and looked forward to coming home to Stephanie's on Sundays. At Audrie's request cremation has taken place. Following the reception, you are welcome to join the family for the internment service at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Stephanie sends "hugs of thanks" to Jane Fletcher and Audrie's caregivers/nursing home staff who were special and made a difference to her quality of life. - 10/20/2004 - ID5038319
