Ella Edna Beers 1917 - 2004 BROWN'S YARD, NB - Ella Edna Beers, 87, wife of the late George W. Beers, of Brown's Yard, NB passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at the Lions Nursing Home, Rexton. Born in Pine Ridge, she was the daughter of the late William McKellop and Euphemie (Cail) McKellop. She attended St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brown's Yard, was a member of the Anglican Ladies Guild and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxilliary. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Alward, Audrey Goodwin (late Gerald); one son, Jonathan (Pat); one sister, Sophia Wilt (late Lawrence); four brothers, Robert McKellop, Hugh McKellop, Lloyd McKellop, Graham McKellop; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter. Besides her husband, George; she was predeceased by two sisters, Eliza Godsoe (Carl), Sybill McKellop; five brothers, James, Edward, Phillip, Aubrey, Charles and three infant siblings. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brown's Yard on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 2:00pm. with Rev. John G. Pearce officiating. Interment will take place at the Church Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
